Method
Yield here is cash paid: every distribution over the year, as a percent of the price at the start of it. It is not a return, and the price change sits beside it. These 175 funds write options on an index, a fund, a basket or a coin rather than one company, and they are ranked against each other rather than against funds writing on something else, because those are not the same purchase.
The rest of the method
The list sorts one published figure, with no scoring or weighting. Every fund ETFIQ covers in this category is eligible, closed funds included.
ETFIQ links to the documents behind every figure; a link is not an endorsement. A ranking is not a recommendation or an opinion.
