On claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Cowork, as Anthropic documents it (Oct 6, 2026):

1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
2. Choose Add, then Add custom connector.
3. Name it ETFIQ and enter https://mcp.etfiq.com.
4. Choose No sign in, then Add.

A Free plan can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds it first. In Claude Code, run:

On the web, as OpenAI documents it (Oct 6, 2026):

1. Turn on developer mode under Settings, Apps, Advanced settings.
2. Create an app under Settings, Apps, Create.

4. Click Scan Tools, then Create.

Developer mode is on Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, where an admin turns it on, and on Pro for tools that only read, as these do.
