ETFIQ assistant

As of Oct 9, 2026, the ETFIQ assistant answers questions about 4,324 US-listed ETFs from ETFIQ's own published data, through the 17 read-only tools of the ETFIQ MCP server, and builds model portfolios from construction choices you make. Every figure comes with its date and a link to its page, and it gives no investment advice.

Ask

The assistant runs in your browser and needs JavaScript. Every figure it uses is published on etfiq.com without it, and the ETFIQ MCP server serves the same data to any assistant you already use.

Sign in with your email address. ETFIQ sends a link that works once, for 15 minutes; there is no password, and a sign-in lasts 30 days in that browser. Reading the site never needs one.

What it answers

One fund: its figures, fee, holdings and how it did against what its own label promises.

Many funds: every fund in a theme, a screen by fee, size or issuer, the ranked lists ETFIQ publishes, and which funds hold a company.

Two funds: how much of their weight they hold in common.

The ETFIQ benchmarks for model portfolios, and an allocation ETF against its benchmark.

Anything else is declined in a sentence: it answers about US-listed ETFs from ETFIQ data only.

Example questions

What does JEPI charge, and how did it do against what it writes options on?

Which ETFs hold the most Nvidia?

How much do QQQ and VGT hold in common?

Which cybersecurity ETFs are there, largest first?

Which ETFIQ benchmark measures a 60% stock portfolio, and what did it return?

Build a portfolio of 6 funds with about 60% stocks, international stocks included, cheapest funds.

Every figure dated and linked

The assistant takes every figure from a tool answer, never from memory, and states it with its as-of date and a link to the ETFIQ page it came from. Where ETFIQ does not publish something it says so rather than offering a near match, and it says when a figure is old, such as holdings from a filing two months back.

Building a portfolio

Give it the stock share you want the portfolio to hold, which sleeves to include (international stocks, commodities, alternatives, themes), an optional fee ceiling, the number of funds and cheapest or largest funds. It applies ETFIQ's published construction rule, shows each fund's weight and fee with the filing the fee came from, and links the result to the model builder under ETF Models. It asks only about the portfolio, never about you: not your age, income, goals or tax position.

Not advice

ETFIQ is independent and is not an adviser, broker or issuer. The assistant describes what the data shows and never says what to buy, sell or hold, or whether something suits you.

Limits

Each reader can ask 20 questions a day; the count starts again at midnight New York time.

The assistant has a monthly spending limit. When the month reaches it the assistant stops answering until the 1st, New York time, and says so; every figure stays free to read on etfiq.com.

What ETFIQ keeps

Your email address, so a sign-in link can reach you, and a count of the questions you ask each day. The conversation stays in your browser tab: ETFIQ stores no question and no answer. Questions are answered by Claude, a model made by Anthropic, which receives the conversation to write each answer. The sign-in cookie is used for nothing else. The privacy page has the rest.
