Each row is one month: how many US ETFs had their first trading day in it, the largest of them by net assets now, and how many have since closed.
The rest of the method
Each month’s page lists every launch with the evidence for its first day. Before Oct 5, 2026 ETFIQ read listings only for the trusts of the funds it covers, and a fund that closed before Oct 3, 2026 is not counted, so a launch can be missing before then. The list sorts one published figure, with no scoring or weighting. Every US ETF with a first price is counted. A fund that is only filed is never counted.
