Build a model portfolioFor advisors.

For advisorsBuild a model portfolio with askIQChoose the stock share, the kinds of funds to include (international stocks, commodities, alternatives, themes), a fee ceiling and the number of funds. askIQ builds the portfolio from ETFs by ETFIQ's published rule, lists each fund's weight and fee, and opens it in the model builder beside the matching ETFIQ benchmark. It asks only about the portfolio, never about you: not your age, income, goals or tax position.

Questions people ask

Is askIQ free?

Anyone can ask 2 questions free. askIQ is free. Sign in with your email and ask as many questions as you like. ETFIQ emails a link that works once, for 15 minutes, and you stay signed in for 30 days in that browser.

Where do the numbers come from?

askIQ takes every number from a tool answer (it has 33 read-only tools), never from memory, and states it with its as-of date and a link to the ETFIQ page it came from. Where ETFIQ does not publish something it says so rather than offering a near match, and it says when a number is old, such as holdings from a filing two months back.

Can it tell me what to buy?

No. askIQ describes what the data shows and never says what to buy, sell or hold, or whether something suits you.
