Every spot bitcoin ETF, against bitcoin itself, ranked by the fund’s return minus the coin’s, as of Oct 27, 2026. The fund, The coin and Difference are over the one window every ranked fund shares, 1 year from Oct 27, 2025 to Oct 27, 2026. Not ranked, on a shorter record: MSBT has traded only since Apr 8, 2026, +13.0% against the coin’s +13.1%. Source: ETFIQ.CSVMethod
Method

The 12 spot bitcoin ETFs ETFIQ can measure, ranked by how close each came to the coin it holds.

The rest of the method

The difference carries the fee, the custody cost, the friction of creating and redeeming in blocks, and whatever the market paid for the shares rather than for the coin. Thinly quoted trusts are left out: a fund whose price sat unchanged on more than one trading day in twenty tops this list for a reason that has nothing to do with tracking. ETFIQ lists them on the crypto page and does not rank them here. The list sorts one published number, with no scoring or weighting. Every fund ETFIQ covers in this category is eligible, closed funds included.
