Alternatives ETFs furthest ahead of T-bills
Return against T-bills is what a fund earned over holding cash. It is not a measure of how much a fund diversifies: a fund can lead this list and move closely with the index, which the correlation column shows.

Method
52 weekly returns to Sep 18, 2026 for each fund and for the S&P 500, measured through SPY with distributions reinvested. Correlation and beta are computed on those weeks; down-week capture is the fund’s average return in the weeks SPY fell, as a share of SPY’s. Return against T-bills is the fund’s total return minus BIL’s over the same weeks. The ranking is the published field sorted, nothing else: no scoring, no weighting and no view on any fund. Every fund ETFIQ covers in this category is eligible, including funds that have closed, because leaving them out would flatter the category.
