Which buffer ETFs reset soon?

81 of the 380 buffer ETFs ETFIQ tracks end their outcome period within 60 days of Sep 12, 2026. On the day after it ends the fund strikes a new cap from that day's option prices and the buffer starts again from zero.

A reset is the only moment the advertised terms are the terms you get. Buy the day after and you have the full buffer and the full cap; buy halfway through and you have whatever is left of both, which is what the band on every fund page shows.

The new cap is not known in advance. It is struck from option prices on the reset day, so a fund that capped at 15% one year can cap well below that the next if volatility has fallen. The buffer depth is fixed by the strategy; the cap is not.

A fund at its cap before the reset has no further upside to collect in index terms however far the index climbs. It is waiting.
