In short
  • As of Nov 4, 2026, 25 of 56 spot crypto ETFs have a fee waiver on record, which cuts or removes the sponsor fee until a stated date.

In plain words

A fee waiver is a sponsor’s promise to charge less than the stated fee, or nothing, for a time, to attract assets to a new fund. It ends on a date or at a size, and the fee then rises to its full rate.

ETFIQ reads waivers from the sentence in each fund’s filing: 25 of 56 spot crypto funds have one. The median sponsor fee, before waivers, is 0.25%. ETFIQ shows the stated fee, the waiver and its end date together.

Only to its end date or size limit. After that the full fee applies.

Where does ETFIQ find waivers?

In the trust’s own 10-K, S-1 or prospectus, as a sentence. No structured field carries it.
