### Method

The promise: track the asset or index it names. The test: tracking its own index. An index fund promises its index, less its fee. The test is one year against an ETF tracking the same index, after the difference in the two fees. Within half a point is tracking; past one and a half points it did not. 47 funds are not measured: it names no index it tracks (28); no other ETF tracks the index it names, so its tracking cannot be measured (18); a fee it needs is not published (1). The category's Promise Index leads with the share of its measured funds that Delivered, with the share of its measured net assets they hold beside it. The order is net assets, largest first. The list sorts one published number, with no scoring or weighting. Every one of the 68 commodity ETFs ETFIQ covers is eligible.
