Rebuilt every trading night.\n Portfolio methodology\n What is covered, where each figure comes from, how it is worked out, and what it cannot tell you. Check any of it yourself.\n 3,439 Funds covered \n Oct 21, 2026 Figures as of \n Nightly Rebuilt from the raw sources \n\n Scope\n Portfolio look-through shows what a whole portfolio of ETFs holds, protects and pays. It uses 3439 look-through books built from fund filings, covering stock, bond, commodity and allocation funds.\n Enter positions as weights, share counts or dollar amounts. They travel in the link and are never stored. There is no account, and ETFIQ does not receive your portfolio.\n Definitions and method\n Look-through For each position of weight p j holding security i at weight w ij , the portfolio\u2019s exposure to security i is \u03a3 j p j \u00b7 w ij . Positions without a filed book show as uncovered, so the covered share is always visible. Overlap between positions The same \u03a3 min( w i , v i ) as for thematic ETFs, applied to two holdings books. Each book holds every row the fund filed. Books were once capped at 300 rows, which understated overlap for broad funds. The cap is gone. Overlap between two bond funds Securities match on CUSIP or ISIN from both funds\u2019 N-PORT filings, never on name. Cash and money-market funds are excluded. Treasury bills are included. Two cash or ultrashort funds show a figure only when both filings share a report date. Blended protection Each buffer position, weighted by its share of the portfolio. This gives what the whole portfolio can still gain, how far it can fall before its buffers engage, and the protection left across all of them, each band on one scale. Cash by month Twelve months of payouts for each income position. A payout is declared, scheduled from a calendar, or projected at the fund\u2019s own cadence. Each row says which. Synthetic and proxy books A fund holding mostly T-bills and options is marked synthetic. Its economic exposure stands in for its book. A fund with no holdings book (not yet filed, or only swaps or bills) is marked proxy. The index or stock in its name stands in. Both are labeled, and neither is shown as a filed holding. What this cannot tell you\n It looks through filings, so it inherits their lag. A book is as of its filing period.\n Blended protection comes from published terms. It does not project what a portfolio will do.\n A projected payout is the fund\u2019s own cadence carried forward. A fund can change or stop its distribution at any time.\n How to check any of this\n Every published figure is free as JSON on the open data page . Use ETFIQ's figures with attribution and the as-of date. Issuer data stays under its owner's terms. Independent code recomputes every number nightly from the raw sources, and the statistics page shows the result. Errors are listed on the corrections page .\n A figure marked ETFIQ is one ETFIQ computed. Every other figure is the issuer\u2019s or the exchange\u2019s, and is labeled that way.\n\n Cite this page.
