### In plain words

Form N-PORT is the report of a fund’s holdings that US funds file with the SEC: every position and its value. Funds file monthly, and the public sees each quarter’s last month after about 60 days.

ETFIQ reads it for every fund, plus daily files from issuers that publish them, and shows the freshest list with its date. The median list is 65 days old, and 56% of 3,495 funds have one older than 60 days. The form also gives net assets, derivatives, income funds’ option type, bond duration and credit mix.

### Questions

How often is N-PORT filed? Monthly, with public release for the quarter’s last month, after about 60 days.

Why not use a daily list? ETFIQ does where an issuer publishes one, and uses N-PORT when it does not.

Where do I see the list? On the fund’s holdings page.
